Welcome to WaitandSee Photography

  • Tell me about your Studio (COV19)
In accordance with HSE and Government guidelines, I have implemented some changes to how I run our photo shoots. However I am confident that even with these changes, the professional photo shoot remains very personable and remain very relaxed for all to enjoy. For reassurance I have been double jabbed and will be wearing a facial mask.
  • So you just need 1 photo?
This is a common question, so I want to share the whole experience. Depending on your booking a photo stoot at my studio can take anything between 30mins to 2-3 hours. Profile Head shot: 30mins (typically 50 photos) Comminion Session: 30mins (typically >50 photos) Family: 1hr (typically 100 photos) Newborn: 2 hours (typically 500 photos) Newborn+ Family: 2.5 hours (typically 600 photos) Each photo then needs to be downloaded from my camera(s) to my mac photoshop and carefully reviewed to find the best picture. The best images from your session will then be uploaded to an online Gallery for you to review and select. Based on your selection, I will then carefully and professionally edit them until they are perfect for printing and framing. As you can image this is not a quick process and has taken years of training. I am also an approved IPPVA registered photographer and have won multiple awards.

  • Booked a Newborn shoot - Common Q&A
Thank you for making your booked. I'm looking forward to giving you a wonderful experience. Here's some advice so you can get the most from the session. If possible bring baby just dressed in a baby grow with no vest underneath, this makes it easier to start the shoot straight away especially if baby is asleep on arrival to the studio. No socks to be put on baby please to avoid marks on baby's legs. If possible feed baby before getting to the studio and bring plenty of spare milk if applicable and a soother if baby takes ones. There will be plenty of opportunities to feed your baby throughout the shoot, you can heat bottles here and there is a nice comfy chair for breastfeeding too, above all there is no rush so let's just play it by ear on the day. Baby knows best! What to wear - Applicable to all shoots! A plain coloured top, shirt, blouse is recommended. I generally recommend to stay away from bold patterns & logos if possible as they date and you want your photos to be timeless. Perhaps bring a spare top too as nappy accidents do happen!! Neutral colours work best but a simple black t-shirt can be very effective too. Any questions, just ask!
